Visions of Sugar Plums
Christmas is awesome.
Neccessary DVD for xmas 08. My favorite movie of the year, not original, hip, or unique, but the Dark Knight is sick.
Awesome North Face travel bag from my parents. Big ups to the Kennedy family for the low down, because chuck and mary are clueless.
And, the coolest present I have ever gotten for Christmas. This is my great-grandfather's "everyday" pocket watch that he used to wear when he worked in the mines in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is about 110-120 years old, weighs about 2 pounds, and WORKS. Video games, clothes, and gift certificates are always sweet, but I was really touched by the meaning of this gift, something that has now been in my family for 3 full generations, it's really sick that it's still around and functioning.

Thrice // Live at the House of Blues
If you are a fan of Thrice, or not a fan of Thrice, you should check this live cd/dvd. Its fucking amazing. Thrice has been a band that has been part of my growing up, they were the headliners at the first show I ever went to, and I distinctly remember them closing the set with "to awake and avenge the dead" which involved Dustin coming out into the crowd during the breakdown at the end. Thats when I decided that Thrice was the shit. SO go check it out. kenn is the man.
